Blog CTAs

I will not use the same CTA on every blog post.
I will not use the same CTA on every blog post.
I will not use the same CTA on every blog post.

If marketers had to "write sentences on the chalkboard" for things they did wrong, this would be a common one.

Contextualizing CTAs based on the topic and intent of the content is a massive lever for increased performance that many companies don't use to their advantage.

Here's a pretty simple process to get started.

- Audit all of your possible conversion types and roughly bucket them into the top, middle, and bottom of funnel stages
- Audit your blog posts (if you have thousands, start with the top 250 traffic drivers) and then bucket them by the same funnel stages
- Add the most relevant CTA from each funnel stage to each blog post in that stage

That's it.

From there, you can audit performance and even run tests on posts if they have high enough traffic volume.
