It's Not About Traffic

It's not about traffic. It is about creating real business impact.

Here are the key things we did to this D2C blog post to improve it.

1. Foundation - we made sure tracking was working properly for page views and goal tracking.

2. Search Intent - we researched and understood the search intent behind the topic and mapped it to the right products on the site.

3. Content - We fully rewrote the content to make sure it covered the topic in-depth, created a quality resource for visitors, and included relevant product links throughout the content.

4. Conversion - When you use the right topics to attract the right audience, create quality content on that topic, and then contextualize the products/CTAs to them, conversions go way up.

Increasing organic sessions is great, but getting 1,000+% increases in product views and purchase lift increases create actual business impact.

This increases purchase consideration, fuels retargeting campaigns, and builds brand and product awareness.

This is true for SaaS and D2C e-commerce companies.
